Rock Climbing and Rappelling Course

Rogue Consulting Group LLC rock climbing and rappelling courses are conducted in exquisite escarpment locations in Colorado, which provide participants a valuable learning experience. The primary goal of our rock climbing/rappelling program is to take its participants out of their comfort zone. In doing so, they will find new found confidence in themselves and others. During this course, participants will learn new technical skills such as, but not limited to, knot tying, climbing terminology, belaying, anchor building, lead climbing and rappelling. We also encourage participants to set both individual and team goals during this experience.

This course is typically 1 day in length but can be extended to 3 days, depending on our client’s needs. This course can also be incorporated into our mountaineering courses (please contact us for further details).

All safety equipment for this course will be supplied by Rogue. It is recommended that participants bring their own lunch (brown bag style) as our climbing sites are not located near any convenience stores.

We will meet at a predetermined location and hike to the crag. Participants will be given a safety brief prior to entering the climbing site. All safety notifications are to be strictly adhered to at all times. Participants will initially be taught knot tying, safe belaying practices and climbing terminology. Once proficiency has been demonstrated by all, the climbing will begin. We conclude the day by setting up multiple rappells for participants to experience prior to course end.

A list of items needed to be brought by participants will be emailed to the client several weeks prior to course commencement.
